Isaiah 29:13-16

Then the Lord said;

‘Because this nation approaches (Me only) with their words, and honors Me with lip service, but removes their hearts far from Me and their reverence for Me is a (religious) tradition that is learned (taught and originated in and by men’s wisdom/understanding/rules, therefore listen carefully, I will once again deal marvelously with this people..and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the discernment and understanding of their discerning men will be concealed.

Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the Lord and who’s deeds are done in a dark place and they say,

‘who see’s us?’ or ‘who knows us?’

(these are those who believe God is uninvolved, doesn’t care, or doesn’t exist, or who are just blatantly irreverent of Him because they are so arrogant that they are completely idiotic.

In any case, there is a complete lack of regard for and therefore lack of understanding of God as well as lack of concern and desire to know Him).

..you turn things upside down (with your perversity)!

Shall the Potter be considered equal with the clay?

That the thing that is made would say to it’s Maker, ‘He did not make me’;

Or the thing that is formed, say to Him Who formed it, ‘He has no understanding’?’

We (people of God) need to increase in our reverence for the Lord. we need to learn about Him (from Him) in order to know Him and increase in appreciation for HIm. We are supposed to carry His Light in the world; we do not have His light if we do not know Him, do not have Him; then instead because of us (our lack of knowledge, connection with and appreciation of Him) the world equates Him with just another religion and considers Him imaginary; perhaps because this is what the religious christian truly believes.

christians need to get out of and reject their religion. Cease with the 'devos' (daily devotionals that are standing in the place of the Holy Spirit; reading what another person has written based on what God shared with them (assuming this is true and not worse which would be them twisting the Word of God to say what they want it to say) it's like having a conversation with a third party about God, rather than allowing God to communicate directly to you; preventing such from happening by avoiding getting directly in His Word).

Another such example would be listening to sermons but not making time to spend one on one time with God in His Word (not a devotional book or another book; just HIs Word).

If any of this applies to you, and or you find your attitude toward the Lord described above, or acknowledge that there is an absence of appreciation and joy in your heart when considering the Lord;

Repent of (acknowledge and do away with ) the arrogance (and ignorance) which causes this.

Offer up your present beliefs and seek the Lord in His Word; spend time with the Lord in His WOrd, allowing Him to communicate His intended meaning as He is the Author of it; and allow our minds and hearts to be changed by Him.
